Dive Into a Marine Industry Certification
In the eastern region of the state, Boat Upstate New York has worked hard to launch educational programs for the industry professionals of tomorrow. To ensure our industry continues to flourish, we have to enrich educational programs for school age and continuing education students to keep the craft alive and ahead of the curve.
The Empire State Marine Trades Association recognizes this accomplishment and is supporting efforts to introduce this and similar programs throughout the state.
The ESMTA Pioneers New York’s First Marine Service Technician Apprenticeship Program
Combating the state’s massive need for service technicians, Conrad Kreuter broke ground in 2019 with a brand new program. This apprenticeship program offers students the ability to receive hands-on field training while working toward their Associate’s Degree. We are ecstatic to be able to announce that we are currently accepting applicants in the Long Island area and our association looks forward to the ultimate merge with our northern regions and their active CV-Tech programs.
