Sea Tow Foundation Adds Nine to Boating Safety Advisory Council

Sea Tow Foundation said it elected nine new members to its boating safety advisory council.

The new members, according to a statement yesterday, include Jeremy Backman, vice president of recreational marine sales, Chubb Insurance; Brooks Bunde, regional sales manager, Marine, Garmin;· Rufino Cruz Jr., business development manager, Regal & Nautique of Orlando; Michael Gisch, general manager, MarineMax; Nick Gosselin, director of marketing, Freedom Boat Club; Kim Koditek, head of content marketing, Boatsetter; Jennifer McQuilken, global marketing communications leader, Cummins Inc.; Jeff Moag, content director, Water Sports Foundation, and Randy Vance, editor-at-large, Bonnier Corp.

The new members will serve two-year terms effective June 1. The council concentrates on national boating safety initiatives and judges a safety awards program.

Gail Kulp, executive director of Sea Tow Foundation, said in the statement, “The caliber of [advisory council] membership just continues to rise. We are very grateful for the industry’s support and interest in our council activities and look forward to many exciting initiatives ahead.”

The advisory council now has 21 members.
